The Braj Chaurasi Kos Parikrama (or Braj Yatra) covers the entire Braj Bhoomi, the land associated with Krishna’s divine pastimes (leelas). The term “Chaurasi Kos” literally means 84 kos, where one kos is roughly 3 kilometers, making the total circuit about 252 kilometers.

Major Sites: Mathura (Krishna’s birthplace), Vrindavan (his youthful pastimes with Radha and the gopis), Nandgaon (his foster home), Barsana (Radha’s birthplace), Govardhan (the sacred hill he lifted), Gokul, and several other villages and forests associated with Krishna’s leelas.
