Now, today we need your help and support

Shree Lalitamba Gau Seva Trust was established in 2017 to promote cow welfare and give a safe haven to cows that have been abandoned or are no longer useful to their owners. The trust is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, and has been granted an 80G certificate.

We are located at Lalitamba Mahashakti Peeth, Rampurwa Dham, Maihar, District Satna, M.P., with our head office at Sukhbir Nagar, New Delhi. The founder of the trust is Jagatguru Lalitamba Pithadhishwar Swami Shri Jairam Devacharya Ji Maharaj, a strong advocate of cow protection and welfare.

Our gaushala is committed to providing shelter, clean water and nutritious food to the cows. If you cannot keep a cow yourself, you can take part in cow protection by adopting one of our resident cows, bulls or calves, for one month, one year or for life.

Free Vedic education

The trust arranges free Vedic education for more than 100 children every year.

Here, cows ostracised by society are served. They are kept in open space inside the boundary wall instead of tied in sheds. All are desi cows that no longer give milk and were abandoned by their owners, cows that would otherwise go to the butcher. They are fed and treated when they fall ill. With your help this work will continue.

Why Gau Daan is important

Gau Daan helps to get rid of papa karmas, to clear debts and to attain forgiveness. It helps to attain moksha after death.

Monthly care for cows

Cows need a balanced diet of fodder, grains and supplements. Sponsoring their food keeps them healthy and prevents malnutrition. The gaushala needs fodder every day and every month.
